1. About Us
Little Threads is a UK-based, family-run embroidery and personalisation business operating from Surrey, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). We provide embroidered workwear, uniforms, personalised garments, and accessories for both business and personal customers.
2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all enquiries, quotations, orders, and services provided by Little Threads, whether for personal (B2C) or business (B2B) customers.
By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in full.
3. Enquiries, Quotes & Ordering Process

Orders are placed via email, contact forms, or direct communication, not via automated checkout.

All prices are provided by written quotation.

Quotations include pricing, lead times, delivery details, and embroidery specifications where applicable.

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

A quote does not constitute acceptance until confirmed by you in writing or 50% deposit has been paid.
4. Order Acceptance & Contract Formation

A legally binding contract is formed only when:

You confirm acceptance of our quote in writing, and

The required deposit has been received.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion (e.g. unsuitable artwork, supply issues, or misuse of intellectual property).
5. Deposits & Payment Terms

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before any production, embroidery, or garment ordering begins.

The remaining balance must be paid in full once your items have been received.
-
All payments must be made using the payment method stated on the invoice.

Failure to pay the balance may result in delays or cancellation without refund of the deposit.
6. Pricing, VAT & Additional Charges

All prices are quoted in GBP (£).

VAT will be charged where applicable.

Prices may change if:

Artwork or design is amended after approval
-
Order quantities change
-
Rush / priority service is requested
-

Any additional costs will be agreed with you before proceeding.
7. Artwork, Proofs & Approvals

You are responsible for approving all artwork proofs, layouts, spellings, colours, and sizes.

Once artwork is approved, we accept no liability for errors that were present in the approved proof.

Colour reproduction may vary slightly due to fabric type, thread availability, or screen differences.
8. Customisation & Bespoke Products

All embroidered and personalised items are custom-made specifically for you.
-
As such, these items cannot be resold and are subject to strict return limitations (see Section 12).
9. Intellectual Property & Customer Content

You confirm that you own or have permission to use any logos, text, images, or designs supplied.

You agree to indemnify Little Threads against any claims arising from intellectual property infringement.

We reserve the right to photograph completed work for portfolio, website, and social media purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
10. Production & Lead Times

Lead times are estimates and begin after deposit receipt and artwork approval.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

Supplier stock shortages

Late approvals or customer changes
-
Courier or postal delays
-

Rush orders are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
11. Delivery & Collection

Delivery options and charges are confirmed at quotation stage.

Customers must ensure delivery details are accurate.

Risk passes to you once the goods leave our premises.

We are not liable for courier delays, losses, or missed delivery attempts.
12. Returns, Faults & Refunds
Personalised & Bespoke Items

No refunds or returns are offered on personalised items unless they are faulty or not as described.
Faulty Items

Claims must be made within 14 days of delivery.

Photographic evidence and order details must be provided.
-
If approved, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
13. Consumer Rights (UK Customers)
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
14. Trade, Bulk & Business Orders (B2B)

Trade and bulk orders are produced strictly to approved specifications.

Slight tolerances in garment sizing, colour, or embroidery placement are considered acceptable.

B2B customers are not entitled to consumer cancellation rights once production has started.
15. Cancellation Policy

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances once work has commenced.
16. Website Use

All website content is owned by Little Threads.

You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse content without permission.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website.
17. Data Protection & Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Customer data is used solely for order processing, communication, and legal obligations.
